Workshop

Animating the User Experience

Motion design is becoming a necessary skill for interactive designers. From web to native products, teams are realizing the power of motion to engage and communicate.

In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of motion design theory – from Disney’s classic 12 principles to offsets and choreography – and practice bringing these into your own work with prototypes. You’ll learn how to identify where animation can improve the user experience and how to fit animation into your design process.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Bring your designs to life, and start.
  • Creating motion prototypes that excite your team and improve your products.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for product designers, web designers, and UX designers looking add animation to their work in meaningful ways.

A laptop with a current version of Keynote is suggested to work along with the demos, but not required.
